The Self-Care Chronicle

Episode 13: Nicole Osborne

Nicole Osborne is a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate and owner of Milk & Honey Therapy located in Greensboro, NC. She specializes in working with teens and young adults from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Nicole uses her compassionate, fun loving and easy-going nature to help her clients overcome anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger issues, academic/career concerns and identity development issues. She loves using holistic and creative therapy approaches such as Walk & Talk Therapy, somatic (body based) therapy, art, music, and mindfulness.

Nicole has over 10 years of combined experience serving as a coach, tutor, mentor, teacher and counselor to children, teens and adults from diverse backgrounds. A number of Nicole’s experiences include working with people from low-income communities and communities of color, which has fueled her passion for various social justice issues. Due her work in these communities, Nicole and her husband Nick (who is a licensed clinical social worker) decided to take a social justice approach to building their therapy practice. They made it their mission to reach people from all cultural backgrounds and make therapy more accessible. They’re proud to offer a large number of reduced rate sessions to help reduce financial barriers that prevent many people, especially BIPOC, from receiving mental health services.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys hanging out with her husband, going on nature walks, working out, traveling, trying new restaurants and learning Spanish.

On Nicole’s practice website, you can find a free resource guide called the “5-Step Guide On How to Feel Your Feelings” to help you learn how to process, feel and cope with a variety of emotions.
